The Inaugural Post

Well, here goes. For a long time, I've espoused a distinct aversion to these things, to the whole notion of posting, as a means of discouraging real-live, face-to-face human contact and, as such, clearly evil. But I've moderated my stance and, while I don't necessarily expect I'll post with impressive frequency or consistency, I would like to have a space such as this where I can post on matters that I feel are of fairly widespread interest, and perhaps even incite the occasional friendly discussion.

Expect to see such things as links to articles I find intriguing, my thoughts on recent movies ('cause let's not kid ourselves - I'm not a good enough writer or film critic to put my thoughts in a more legitimate medium), my travel experiences (such as the upcoming California venture, which I hope to be merely one among many), and of course, the beautiful snapshots my newly-acquired digital dream, the Panasonic TZ1, (mad props to my main man, Bri, for your help) will be amassing. So there you have it. Read, enjoy, discuss. You know, if you ever feel so inclined.
